Chiropractic care
Chiropractic care is a holistic, non-pharmaceutical approach to care that addresses spinal and joint mobility and function, soft tissue/muscle pain and tightness, and overall health.
“Dr. Kyle’s style is more complete than I’ve experienced with other doctors, as he offers neuromuscular therapy in addition to adjustments (dry needling, cupping, & more). I come from Bellevue and would drive from further away for this top-tier care.”
Chiropractic adjustments
Chiropractic adjustments are therapeutic procedures performed to improve the range of motion, alleviate pain, increase spinal and joint movement, and improve the overall function and health of the body.
“I came in hunched over in the lower back and by the 5th adjustment over 3 weeks I was back to normal!”
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves inserting a short, thin sterile needle into specific points of the body, also called “acupuncture points,” to help stimulate the body’s energy and improve imbalances, thereby promoting healing.
“I went to see Dr. Kyle for some acupuncture and will now be continuing to go every week! He is very good with needles, and talks to you the whole time about what he is needling and why. If you need acupuncture, Integrative Chiropractic is the place to go!”
Dry needling
Dry needling is a technique involving the insertion of a thin, sterile needle into certain muscles, tendons, or ligaments of the body to help relieve pain and tightness or tension. This therapy also increases joint range of motion and accelerates muscle regeneration and recovery.
Cupping
Cupping is a technique that involves placing a plastic or silicone cup on the skin (in a specific area) and suctioning to create a vacuum that decompresses the tissue and increases blood flow and circulation. This reduces inflammation and decreases muscle tension, allowing the area to heal more effectively.
“I get cupping done here and after my visits my back and neck feels amazing.”
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation is a manual therapy technique that uses a stainless steel or plastic instrument to help mobilize and treat muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia. The goal is to reduce soft tissue tightness, decrease pain, and increase mobility.
Flexion Distraction
Flexion Distraction is a therapy that helps stretch and decompress the lumbar spine. This procedure involves a patient lying face down while the chiropractor moves the table to apply gentle stretching, distraction, and lateral bending of the spine to help improve mobility and decrease pain.
“My lower back hurt so much I could barely walk. After just 3 treatments using flexion distraction, I could stand up straight and the pain was gone!”
Roller Traction Table
A roller traction table provides controlled spinal traction and mobilization. It consists of a motorized roller that gently moves along the spine while the patient lies face up. This is usually performed for 10 minutes with heat added. The goal is to help relax the patient, decrease muscle tightness, and increase spinal mobility.
Active Rehabilitation
Integrative Chiropractic offers active rehabilitation to ALL patients. The goal of active rehab is to help strengthen or stabilize muscles and increase mobility/range of motion in the affected joints. By doing customized exercises at home.
This helps patients get better faster and improve overall function.
